As we head into the Easter break, it is a wonderful opportunity for our Distance Education students to continue enjoying reading in a relaxed and flexible way. Across Australia, public libraries offer excellent resources, including a wide range of books, digital collections, and engaging holiday programs for young people. Visiting a local library can also be a great way to meet like-minded peers and build social connections in a welcoming environment.

Have a look at what is on at the Moreton Bay Libraries during the Easter school holidays.

Using the school ePlatform

Students can also access our ePlatform from the comfort of home, making it easy to borrow and enjoy books anytime, anywhere. If you need any help accessing or using ePlatform, please feel free to get in touch at sonjapotgieter@acc.edu.au - I am very happy to assist. We encourage all our students to make the most of these opportunities over the holidays - whether by exploring their local library or diving into a good book online.

Easter Reading Challenge

Below is an Easter Reading Bingo Challenge you may wish to work on over the Easter holidays with your family to reflect on the true meaning of Easter and what Jesus has done for us.

Easter is a special time in the Christian calendar when we remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a message of hope, new life, and forgiveness, reminding us that even in difficult times, there is always the promise of renewal. As families and communities come together, it is also a time to reflect, be grateful, and share kindness with others. We wish all our families a very blessed Easter time and hope you enjoy a restful and joyful Easter break.

Always keep learning!
