Welcome to ACCM Stories, we celebrate stories from the youngest and oldest of our School Community. Between On Campus and Distance Education, our students are achieving spectacular things in every avenue.

Henry Low - Year 7
Henry raced at The Queensland Representative School Sport swimming competition at Brisbane Aquatic centre.
He achieved the following results :
13 yr Boys 50 M Breastroke 3rd Place
13 yr Boys 100 M Breastroke 4th place
13 yr Boys 200 M Breastroke 5th Place
13 yr boys Regional medley relay 4th place.
He has now qualified For School Nationals held in Melbourne in July.
Outside of school swimming, Henry has also qualified for the 2026 Australian Age Swimming Championships being held on the Gold Coast in April.
Avari Muench - Year 7
I would like to share the wonderful news that Avari has won the 2026 Queensland State Equitation and Jumping Championships, placing first with a personal best score.
Her beautiful horse, Cobby, performed brilliantly, and together they worked as an incredible team alongside their home club, Tallebudgera Pony Club, and coaches Ping Ja and Charlotte Skelton.
As a result of her outstanding performance, Avari has also been selected for the Queensland State Team — an incredible achievement and honour.
This success is very well deserved, as Avari has been training tirelessly every day for hours at a time. Her commitment, drive, passion, and dedication to the sport have truly paid off.
We are incredibly proud of her efforts and this amazing accomplishment.
Sophia Foster - Year 7
Has played a huge part in Sophia’s quick growth and happiness.
Miranda Webb (Year 7)
I thought this might be a nice time to check in with Miranda’s recent success and achievements this year. I have also attached a couple of pics FYI.
Miranda’s currently a 13 year old DE student in Year 8 and is a full-time dance student. She’s had incredibly success so far this year on the world stage and the easiest way to mention these will be dot points below:
In March, Miranda was selected as just one of just 11 finalists (from thousands of applicants worldwide) invited to the final round for placement at The Royal Ballet School, London. She was offered a Senior Associate Program position commencing September this year.
In April, Miranda attended the Concours International de Danse Competition in Cannes – France, where was awarded 3 bronze medals for her 3 performances there.
Earlier this month Miranda attended The International Ballet Competition Belgium, and won Silver and Bronze in her category’s. There she was also offered 6 scholarships to leading international schools ad summer schools in Europe including, Germany, Italy (Rome and Florence), Norway and Belgium.
Miranda continues to aspire to chase her dreams of becoming a professional ballerina and at the same time, achieve high academic results. She’s extremely grateful to be able to do both, with the opportunity, flexibilty and support of ACC.
Amelie O’Donnell - Year 8

Won Victoria state titles in go karting Making long distance ed so easy
Claudia Popplewell Year 8
Claudia has competed in three different regional dance competitions and achieved following results : first place in Ballet solo (GTB), 2nd place in Lyrical (SC Dance Eisteddfods), Diamond score in Lyrical (GTB), 3rd place in Jazz (GTB) DE has been allowing Claudia to participate remotely and to be able to have intense training in dance. Provided flexible learning scheme allowed Claudia to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer and achieve next level of her training
Siah Kaluat Year 9 Personal achievement -
Siah has continued to remain motivated in her schooling and has been committed growing and joining in on as many chats and online groups as she can, while receiving new diagnoses. Siah had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2024 and joined DE in 2025 to get back into schooling while recovering from her bone marrow transplant and additional stem cell treatments in 2025.
Siah has always been interested in one day pursuing medicine, and even through her medical experience has remained committed to her education, being so much so that she is up to date on her workload more than her parents are!
DE has helped to keep Siah connected in while her health has been so up and down. It has helped Siah feel normal, and in a routine that feels like that of her peers.
Annalise Cooper-Morgan Year 9
QLD Junior State Title - Showjumping Annalise is often on the road competing or at training camps. DE has provided the support and flexibility to learn in conjunction with her sport.
Jensen Doyle Year 9
In my spare time I am restoring a 1953 Chieftain Sedan with my dad. We went to Melbourne last year to pick up the car and have been working on it in our spare time ever since. We are doing all the restoration work ourselves as well as the painting of it. I have picked the colours myself. My dad has a 1957 Pontiac Superchief, so once mine is ready and I have my licence, we can go to car shows and cruises together. DE has played a really important role in achieving this dream as I am able to work around classes to work on this car when my dad is available so we work on this project together.
Edward Conley Yr 11
Went to Queensland school Sports state championships as a referee. He earned the Boys Gold Medal game and the Student Official of the Championship award. This puts him in the running to earn a place at Nationals for School Sports in July. We are extremely proud of his efforts to achieve his goals.
Elizaveta - Year 10
We are happy to share that Year 10 student Elizaveta has reached 6th place in 2026 in the FIG World Cup 2026 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). Watch her and the Australian Team's performance below.
